Homepage.ru project

A city portal Homepage.ru was initiated in Moscow in 2008. There is no print version of Homepage.ru. It was created from point zero in the frames of Media3 holding.

The project was made to meet the Muscovites requirements of up-to-date independent information regarding the practical side of city life. Editorial content consists of news, advertisement of events, description of places and informative step-by-step instructions how to solve typical problems of citizens.

The project was developed basing on latest technical tendencies. For instance the total content personalization technology considering user’s geography (geocontext) was implemented. The meaningful step to the convergent jounralism is made in the field of content supply, the content is presented by videos, photos and texts.
